Around a year ago, Blue Sky began supporting the charity, Kids Matter. They are a charity close to home, aiming to help strengthen families that may be struggling, working to help keep them together.
After watching Mandy’s Story, we knew immediately that their work, giving families support and confidence, helps to stop them from breaking down and literally changes lives. It is a privilege to help promote and support them with ongoing fundraising efforts.

Kids Matter: Watch Mandy's Story ⬇️
A Coastal Challenge
As part of our fundraising efforts, we have scheduled to take part in the ‘Jurassic Challenge’ Ultra Walk – a beautiful 25km looped coastal walk in Dorset on Saturday 18th May.
Yes, it will be hard doing that long walk. As if walking so many miles isn't already enough, our intrepid walkers could also be buffeted by heavy winds or pelted on by rain!
Three team members thought it worthwhile enough to take on the challenge nonetheless. So thank you to Chrissie Bolger, Katie Sell and Sophie Amy from Blue Sky who are willing to give it a go!
Walking for Change
And what about foster carers? Somewhat surprisingly, hundreds of foster carers didn’t come forward to walk the 15.5 miles along the coast. Although this has been disappointing, there has been a shining light, as two of our young people have put themselves forward. Aged 15 and 17, they have taken on this challenge to raise money for Kids Matter and so far, raised a lot of money in the process!
