I’ve been with Blue Sky since December 2018, having come from managing a Fostering Service for the Local Authority. I have always had an interest in working in fostering and with looked after children, and decided that Blue Sky had the support that I think is important on offer for carers.
I am the Area Manager for Portslade and Chatham, so I ensure that we are doing all we can to offer an exceptional service to our carers and children. The Area Teams organise training, support groups, supervision, events, participation and many other things. There is always something to learn, and every day brings a new challenge.
Seeing the difference even a small conversation can make to the direction a child goes in is something which brings me hope, and gives me confidence that together we can make a change.
