Rock Assembly 2018

Rock Assembly 2018!

On Thursday 13 July I went to Wembley Arena for the Wembley Rock Assembly 2017.

I was invited by my school because I was one of the top 100 positive stamp collectors within the school year. Before we left we were told that The Vamps would be there.

We left on the coaches at 8:30am for the 2 hour drive.

When we got to the arena it was packed outside as there where many schools invited from all over the country, as well as Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Outside the Arena was a Careers Fair which were displaying various Colleges and places of work.

After the Careers Fair we had our lunch and then started queuing to get in just before the doors opened. It took about an hour to get in. When we got in we sat where our tickets said, but were then able to move nearer to our friends.

Unfortunately none of my best friends were invited but I sat with some people that I speak to quite a lot. Then the Rock Assembly finally began.

The acts were: The Vamps, Gavin James, Sarah Close, Vanessa White, Pink Angels, Some Velvet Morning and some surprise special guests including Olly Murs on a big screen

It was hosted by Kiss FM’s The Dixon Bros. I thought the best acts were Dixon Bros, Pink Angels and of course The Vamps. The music was so loud you could feel it vibrating against your clothes. It was an epic day
