Government Guidance

We have now received the government guidance regarding who can access school provision from next week.

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/closure-of-educational-settings-information-for-parents-and-carers/closure-of-educational-settings-information-for-parents-and-carers

What does this mean for you and your young people?

You will note Looked after Children are entitled to access school provision.  We are working in collaboration with you, the LA Social Worker, the Virtual School Head and your young person’s school, to ensure, where possible, your young people remain accessing education.

Blue Sky Fostering Position Statement

Blue Sky Fostering want as many of our young people as possible to access school provision, unless there are very good reasons as to why they should not.

Online resources

Many of the resources available are online, we recognise that some young people may prefer to work from books/ write, and we will be able to consider providing CGP resources if they would be more appropriate.
