Location: Romsey, Hampshire
Salary: £16,000 – £18,500 per annum
Working Pattern: Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
Blue Sky Fostering has an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Administrator to join the team in the Hampshire area. This position is full time based at our hub in Romsey.
Who are we?
BSN Social Care is the parent company of Blue Sky Fostering.
Blue Sky Fostering is an established Independent Fostering Agency, operating across the south of England, to provide foster placements to children and young people. We have been rated ‘Outstanding’ for four consecutive inspections since 2008.
We provide a number of different services including mainstream fostering for children aged 0-18 and Parent and Child Placements. We also have an established and well regarded Therapeutic Led Care (TLC) service where our team of experienced clinical practitioners work alongside specialist foster carers to provide therapeutic care to children to prevent them moving to residential care.

The Role
Blue Sky Fostering has a brilliant opportunity for a proactive, skilled and organised individual, with previous administrative experience in an office environment, to join the team as a Recruitment Administrator at our hub in Romsey.
We are looking for dedicated and dependable individual with energy and drive to provide direct administrative support to the carer recruitment team at the hub. The Recruitment Administrator will be fully involved in all aspects of the recruitment and assessment of new foster carers for Blue Sky Fostering.
As a Recruitment Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing and processing any new fostering applications. This includes answering telephone calls and responding to emails in a timely manner to ensure any interest and queries are acted upon promptly. You will also be responsible for overseeing all statutory checks for new foster carers such as submitting DBS requests and highlighting any areas of concern as well as undertaking regular audits to chase any outstanding information and ensure all checks received are to a high standard. The Recruitment Administrator will also be responsible for maintaining and inputting data regarding the statutory checks into spreadsheets to evidence what has been actioned and to keep on top of deadlines.
The successful candidate will need to be creative in their approach to problem solving and detail-orientated in reviewing information as they will need to ensure compliance is met across all stages of the recruitment process. You will also need to ensure you are proficient and have a high degree of accuracy as you will be required to closely follow systems and processes for all aspects of fostering assessment.
